The Ask

Identify and select a problem, issue, or opportunity tied to a specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), and create and design a product or campaign to address the problem and/or shift people's attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors toward a specific issue. 

Only 27.8% of students who used Student Psychological Services during the 2019-2020 school year were men.

Context

Male students don’t feel comfortable speaking up about their mental health and seeking help.

Insight

Good Head is committed to empowering men to start mental health conversations on campus by incorporating education with humor, making men’s mental health more approachable.

Solution

  1. The name itself catches the attention of the target audience, male college students.

  2. The Good Head hats themselves serve as conversation starters around campus.

  3. Everyone has male friends or family members they care about.
